Bondwell opened its doors in Chiang Mai's Si Phum neighbourhood in 2019, started by a small group of adult educators and document management specialists who saw a gap in what was available to families wanting practical help at home.
What they noticed was this: many households struggled not because of legal or clinical problems but because the everyday habits of talking and record-keeping had never been set up thoughtfully. Turn-taking was rough. Documents were scattered. No one was quite sure what the family held or where anything was.
The founding team wanted to address those practical gaps without overstepping — offering clear, educational workshops and administrative sessions that respected each person's need to make their own decisions and consult their own professionals.
What We Are Here to Do
Bondwell exists to give households access to well-structured communication skill-building and practical organising tools that they might not have encountered elsewhere. We keep our scope plain: education, skills practice, and administrative guidance.
We do not position ourselves as counsellors, mediators, or legal advisors. When participants bring matters that sit in those areas, we acknowledge that and point them gently toward appropriate professional or official support.

Participant Privacy
Personal information shared in sessions remains within Bondwell. We do not share individual details with third parties. Workshop group settings use first names only.
Scope Transparency
Every session opens with a plain statement of what we do and do not cover. Participants understand they are receiving education, not regulated advice or counselling.
Evidence-Informed Content
Workshop exercises are drawn from established adult learning frameworks and communication literature. We update content regularly based on participant feedback.
Respectful Referrals
When participants raise matters beyond our scope, we acknowledge this openly and refer them to suitable qualified professionals or official bodies without delay.
Small Group Sizes
Communication workshops are capped at 12 participants so that every person has time to practise skills, ask questions, and receive useful facilitator attention.
Ongoing Improvement
We collect anonymous feedback after each session and use it to review and improve our materials. Our approach is not fixed — it evolves as we learn what works.
Family Communication Workshops in Chiang Mai

The Finding Common Ground Workshop addresses the practical side of household conversations: how to slow down enough to really hear what someone is saying, how to find the shared interest beneath a disagreement, and how to hold a discussion that leaves everyone feeling heard rather than managed. These are transferable skills, not scripts.
The Shared Household Records Setup Session takes a different angle — organisational rather than conversational. Many households accumulate important documents over years without a coherent structure. Our facilitator works alongside household members to create a labelled, shared filing system that reduces confusion and helps everyone know where things stand.
Community Membership extends both strands into an ongoing, peer-supported experience. Members attend regular short workshops, access printable guides, and connect with others navigating similar household realities — all within a space that stays clearly educational and always encourages professional consultation when individual circumstances require it.
